Heading out to DC for Charm School

Crazy night. Will tell the story a few weeks from now. Or screw it, i'd rather have the guys that were there write it. Time to delegate.

I am crazy. I don't know where i get the energy but it is 2:43 AM and I am going to wake up at 4 for my flight. Messed up. I just finished another great phone coaching session. I got all my damage control stuff in check: Multivitamin, sore throat relief, b12 booster, Motrin, and possibly Dayquil. I am so going to doze off on this flight. Next logistical fix, part of my wishlist

I want one, we need one, we are getting one (soon!)

Goodnight world

Troy

Honestly, this is one of my favorate masterlife posts. It’s so real and so emtonionally charged taken from Troy’s life and point of view that, to me, it’s a perfect example of speaking from the “I” perspective. Who cannot relate to going to bed really late and having to wake up really early, having a sore throat, going on a trip and preparing for it? I think DHV stories that people cannot relate to are stupid. I would rather talk about stuff that is more down to earth and relatable to my audience than to tell about some REALLY cool stuff I do, am doing, have done or any other “I” stuff but that no one can relate to, as one great PUA once said, “it is better to be real than to be good” (he was probably talking about D.Q., but I have seen from the field that it applies to our “I” staments as well. I’m learning by example with this one. Thanks Troy. By the way, your R-E-S-P-E-C-T blogs over at CA are awesome as well.
