TDD WIKI - Official Terminology
24/7 Attractive Guy - The Main hallmark goal of every TDD Client. To get to the point where awareness is very sharp, vibe control is mastered, sexualization is a must, and logistics as well as lifestyle areas of life are covered. Women now fight for this guy now and if he wants someone, he can get her.
“How to be a 27/7 Attractive Guy…Anytime and Anywhere” - Main Slogan of TDD
After-Party - A logistically escalated party after 2 am (or past that, in other areas of the world) that ends up at someones pad or house. Usually involves chilling out, more alcohol, and sex.
“Duuuuuuude! Afterparty!!!” - Julian, our German Instructor who is a man-whore for afterparties. Ask him he’s laid a lotta women through that.
“Hey I got a surprise for you ladies! It starts with V…and ends with odka!” - Timmy D back in the aggressive “pull days” of late 2007
Archetype Game - Every social demographic has an idea of an attractive male, called an archetype. Knowing what archetype is on that demographic and being that man makes first impressions so much easier.
Archetype of Lost - Having an archetype that’s too mixed, too confusing, or unattractive.
“Dude, so…you look like a biker, you have Asian tattoos, a bling watch, and boots? Interesting….” - Timmy talking to a dude with AOL.
Ace’s Rule (or Rule of Aces)
Back Pain
Beatdown
Buffalaxed! - Old falcon term for hyped up. An inside joke on a really funny ass Bollywood spoof video that can be found HERE.
“You need a Bun to Bite Benny Lava, Have you been high toodaaaaaayyyyyyy….” - Excerpt from the video
Captains (as in rank)
Champions of Choice
Chinese Generals - One of the “old school” methods of winging where both wingmen highly compliment each other so that neither has to brag or boast. The Instructors do this amazingly well and is pretty much organic at this point. It’s a start to know your wing pretty well and be his friend in real life.
Chick Politics (c/o calmario) - Happens when there’s a feeding frenzy and women fight over you for ownership. This is what happens when you date or lay chicks in the same circle or demographic.
“Dude, I’m the only guy in my class, and this one chick I made out with is putting a fence around me and pissing other chicks off! This is Chick Politics I tell you” - Calmario
Chit Chat Master - A guy who’s game relies solely on conversation. “Relating to her” is the main goal of this buffoon and he soon finds out after a long time talking to the chick that she generally finds him boring, asexual, and a friends zone guy. This is the guy who relentlessly goes on forums asking on how to escalate sexually.
“Man, I’m f*cking done with being a chit chat master. I thought I was doing great talking to girls a lot, but this stuff just got me nowhere!” - TDD Convert
Common Connects
Conquistador, the (as in archetype) - Archetype popularized by Troy and Timmy back in 2007 during the closed-circle lecture Troy did in Manila that sprung ridiculous success stories from attendees after. The “conquistador walk” was an early prototype to what we now call “the swagger walk” in TDD. The Conquistador has a certain dominance mixed with grace in his nonverbal movements, and is a man of class. Clothing wise, a conquistador wears upscale clothing that isn’t too dapper but can definitely be worn in upscale places. Think Zara to begin with.
Contrast and Harmony - A 2007 concept introduced by Troy explaining an excellent way to project yourself to women by having a 50/50 distribution of contrast (meaning edge) and harmony (meaning how much people can relate to you). This can be distributed via first impressions, character, vibe, verbals, and non verbals. Note: too much contrast is bad (too out there), and too much harmony is as well (too blended in, does not stand out). Was heavily debated on in the CA boards at one time due to its controversial nature.
Conveyance - The third type or dimension of communication style that Troy explains on the Mastermind E-Group newsletter, along verbal and nonverbal communication. Conveyance is highly visual, and it is used through one’s social network and association as well as his environment. Conveyance is highly successful when used as a Credibility Date.
Closed Environments - A literal term for environments that are enclosed i.e. class rooms, bars, clubs, lounges, bookstore, etc. The main differentiating factor for closed environments is that they are visually motivated. Hence, techniques like Line of Sight, Swagger, Non verbals, and Gaining Allies were created to dominate said environments.
Credibility Date - A very powerful Conveyance date that TDD Alumni use wherein they take their date to a place where they have credibility, thus answering any questions she might have in her head if the guy is for real or not. Takes the load off of pressure conversation dates and is deadly effective in conversion. Famous cred dates in the movies is the infamous “Good Fellas” scene where Henry Hill takes his date to a local Mafioso bar.
Crew (as in team or group)
Dan-ite (co authored by Stone)- Refers to the alumni from a dating coach called “The Dating Geek.” Very prominent during 2004-2005 and had members spanning from San Francisco all the way to Seattle. Being a Dan-ite is another state of mind. It’s where your inner lion disappears and out comes your inner mouse spouting automated responses in the most inopportune/uncalibrated times like:
“Hi my name is Max, my day is wonderful and yours is as well!”
“Not only are you sexy but you’re a great talker as well.”
These responses are usually accompanied by a warm (yet sexually weak) smile, hand to arm shakes and touching your targets hand with the back of your palm. At one point, the Dating Geek himself tells guys to point their left chest at a girl while shaking hands, to fire at her their “laser heart.”
It was not long until Troy started gaining curiosity from the Dan-ites and one by one they converted to TDD, thus exposing The Charming Geek’s weak system and thus initially putting him out of business for the first time in 2007. Troy has done boot camps for close to 37 Dan-ites based on his recollection.
“I was a fucken Dan-ite yo!” - Stone regretting money well earned and not well spent.
Danger Room, the - A secret location only previously revealed to 2 of Troy’s past key wingmen, Chrizo and Timmy D where nonverbal communication and dance game can be practiced and harnessed to its full potential. This place is at an undisclosed location and has enough sharpening tools to get the nonverbal skill to a level 10. Current Danger Room alumni include TDD Captain Rafa.
“Dude at the Danger Room…Troy like fucking showed me how to make out with this chick 18 fucking ways! Ridiculous!!!!!” - Timmy D
Dapper (as in archetype) - An archetype that works really well for young looking Asian men who want to be taken seriously when they go to 21 and up venues. Troy saw this trend in upscale lounges when his Asian clients would wear rockstar-like clothes (even on the day time) with a ton of accessories, and obviously it didn’t work out as well. Clothing resembles a good combination of fine shirts, ties, cufflinks, etc. Think GQ magazine as a start.
Death Clutch - What happens when a date or boyfriend holds on to his girl for dear life while she gets all up on a TDD guy.
“Sorry you had to use your Death Clutch, but I wasn’t interested in your girl” - TDD SG Alumni Jiron Talking about some idiot who’s girl kept going after him.
Dilutent Effect, the - What happens when the interaction loses its romantic or sexual purpose. When the conversation has spread into too many tangents, has zero sexualization, and has been diluted by randomness. A MUST to avoid if you want to escalate. The antidote to the dilutent effect is available on Champions of Choice 5 - Conversation Master. Marinetti also has an amazing article on it called “Conversations should be about you and her” on the forum featured articles section.
Double Relate- A slick conversational technique used to get women to relate to you either way, by covering both bases of the opinion/statement. One of the favorite conversational techniques of Nash, our UAE Instructor.
“Sometimes I really enjoy living fast, travelling, hopping on planes, buses, and trains and all…but sometimes I just want to chill at home with my dog and watch TV for the whole day.”
- Example 1 highlighting a fast paced lifestyle and a slower pace at the same time
“I kid you not, I am a big fan of Left 4 Dead. I play that stuff when I’m bored and I love bringing my friends to play on it. That’s pretty much what I love doing on my own when I’m sort of retiring from mingling with people”
- Example 2 highlighting being an Introvert and an Extrovert at the same time
Douschebag (as in character)
Falcon Block - An old popular technique taught on the boot camps during the late 2007-2008 period to effectively stop women or groups of women walking. Still taught extensively on locations where day game is very relevant. The basic steps are
- Look far enough so that you see your target
- Align yourself to her in a straight line
- When you get within 10 feet hold, and keep eye contact
- Smile warmly, and stop her with a simple “hey”
Falcon Commanders (as in rank) - The top-level fraternity within the TDD system, comprised of Troy’s best friends, confidants, and students turned superstars. Most, if not all have had teaching experiences and despite the far destinations each commander lives in, close to 4 times a year the commanders meet and go on vacation. This eventually became the TDD Lifestyle Retreat. A Falcon does not have to be a TDD Instructor. Non-instructors have remained close partners, associates, and sometimes even guest instructors for TDD Events.
To be a Falcon, you must meet these qualifications:
- A minimum 1 year consistent relationship with the TDD system
- A key part of a crew, or leader of a crew, and vouched for by fellow Falcons as a solid guy
- Traveled in other global locations and have succeeded there whether teaching or with meeting women
- Has winged or co-instructed on Troy’s boot camps or Private Instructions a minimum of 5 times and has learned exceptional articulation and coaching skills over time.
- Most importantly, someone who’s loyalty is tested through time, and someone who will not place his fellow brothers in shame, jeopardy, and will provide full disclosure and trust within the circle.
Falcons are invited, and there are no applications to be one. Through hard work, dedication, and an unwavering friendship and loyalty, one becomes a commander and is inducted to the “black belt” level of TDD.
Fatality - A fun dance move where you bend over a chick from a grinding position and scream “fatality!!!” Famous back in early 2008 and was used by guys like Troy, Giant Killer (on a Tommy Hilfiger Model), Timmy D, and Andy. As funny as it seems this move was taken originally from the goofy website http://www.clubbintechniques101.com
Female Magnets (as in structures) - Having structures that reel in women through lifestyle: includes hobbies and passions, social networks, social gatherings, credibility from multiple cultural demographics, online structures such as facebook, and pipelines.
FHBSDTMD - Fingered Her But She Didn’t Touch My Dick. Literal meaning and comical joke amongst TDD guys.
Focus Bubble - What happens when you have increasing mutual agreement and connection, eye contact and vibe that creates a “bubble” around you and her and you are both focused on each other. Nothing can bother both of you.
Foreshadowing, the art of
Four Course Meal - Type of Chick that usually takes more time and takes showing more dimensions of your personality to get.
“Some chicks are like four course meals, they want to see the menu first, then the appetizer, the main course, and eventually they’ll want the dessert in the end” - Troy
Four Vibes, the - One of the Main teachings of TDD, and one of the few things a man can control with consistency (along with mindsets and logistics). The vibes are separated into four - Fun, Charismatic, Dominant and Sexual. Students are taught in boot camps to know the strengths and weaknesses of each, how to transition from one to another, and how to combine one with another. The Four Vibes are learned during both Skype Programs and Live Comprehensive Camps.
Girlfriend Season - From August all the way till February. The string of events, from Halloween to Thanksgiving, to Xmas, New Year and Valentines and the added cooler environment make for a conducive environment to have a girlfriend within these time periods.
Girly Hormones (also known as Female Hormones) - When a guy makes a big deal out of anything, i.e. a date, a woman’s reaction, and further speculates, analyzes, and thinks about it, then he has Girly or Female hormones.
“Look Man, ONLY Women look at the signs and wonder about what could happen tonight, not you!” - Troy talking to one of his Alumni
Gravity Effect - What happens when a TDD alumni, or a trained crew walks into a place and gains attraction. Because of the initial swagger, vibe, and even archetype, women position themselves near or directly beside the crew. The most notable “gravity effect” happened during the 2009 Lifestyle Retreat when the entire crew of 10 TDD guys walked into an empty dance floor and within 5 seconds it was full with women, shocking even the guys themselves. This was also repeated during TDD’s first Europe Bootcamp which was held in Germany.
“Did that just f*cking happen?!?? Did they just change seats to be near us??? This is Nuts!” - ChelisBoa, TDD Europe Alumni
Grenadiers - The adrenaline pumped, over energy guys who are super eager to pick up women when entering a venue. You send them out first, hence the name grenadiers, so they bomb the interactions, and later on the women come looking for you because you don’t suck or are as needy like they are. Grenadiers can also be used as natural barriers.
“Go ahead, let em do their bullshit. They’re Grenadiers, that’s what they’re supposed to do, to fuck it up to make us look good” - Stone talking about the dead weight pick up guys who we invited out in San Francisco.
Group Game (also known as team game) - An advanced concept usually pulled off by a well trained TDD Crew.
High Points - The basis for smart and smooth escalation in the TDD System. Every portion of any interaction has a high point, and it is crucial to a) anticipate it and b) act upon it by leading it forward or leaving the interaction to be back later and generate a new high point.
Hook Up Season - From Late February to Beginning of August. The Hook Up season is where most people break up and start meeting new people/hooking up.
Idiots- PUA’s who wear velvet, do routine stacking and opinion opening..generally those guys are what we call idiots.
Insurance Policy - A Back Up Girl.
Justified Interest - Part of the TDD conversational system that means knowing what you want before you meet women so that you can ask loaded questions that lead there, thus if you do show interest its completely justified and not ambiguous. Not to be confused with CA’s SOI, as it has no relation to it.
Law of Frequency - Law of Nature heavily applied to nearly all TDD concepts. It means that the more frequent you appear, the more comfortable and attracted people are to you. Used in lifestyle creation, social domination, and pipelining the most.
Lay Haven - Your crib, or pad, which is carefully constructed (along with your logistics) to convey your personality, be female-friendly, and have an intimate sexual aura to it. One of the top things discussed on the Skype Program.
Lead or Leave - The only two options you have when you hit a high point in the interaction. Leave (the right way), or Lead it further.
Lifestyle Retreat - The most expensive, yet most rewarding event on the TDD Success System, attended by nearly all the Instructors, Falcons, Alumni and Clients, which usually spans for 2-3 weeks in a paradise location. Retreat members are “insanely immersed” 24/7 into the lifestyle of men who are good with women and life in general and skill sets are learned on a very relentless pace, thus creating a Paradigm Shift at the end of the trip. The first lifestyle retreater was Timmy D, then later branched off into a couple of people, and lately we had a handful of attendees. The retreat also goes to show that the TDD guys are 24/7 - none of it is fake or an act, and that it’s really a matter of being over doing.
The next Lifestyle Retreat will be held March-April 2010.
Line of Sight (or LOS) - Literally means positioning yourself into being in the field of vision of women.
MACRO - refers to the “big picture” aspect of the TDD skillset, includes: Mindsets, Awareness, and Logistics Planning.
Malfunctioning - What happens when a student or client sees a piece of the matrix or gets immense pressure and somehow “malfunctions” in the field. Think of C3PO with his sparks and wires falling out of his head. Err-errr-errr-errr—malfunctioning–err–errr-errrrr….!
“My client just malfunctioned tonight in the boot camp! I thought he was going to have a stroke in front of a girl or something!”
Man Hormones - i.e. Testosterone or Free Radicals
Marble Theory 2.0 - Troy’s “Boyfriend Destroyer” technique made popular in 2008.
Master class
MICRO - Refers to the “Interaction Level” aspect of the TDD Skillset, includes mastery of Verbals, Nonverbals, and Conveyance.
Money Makers - Term coined by Aztlan (Pure Night Grad) for sexual kino techniques taught by Troy on the seminar. Also known in the past as “Stripper Kino” because most of it was learned from one of Troy’s ex girlfriends who was a top-notch stripper.
“I Built Tension…hit a couple Money Makers…KABOOM Make out!” - TDD Alumni
Morons - Guys who are supremely hard headed. They are aware of what needs to be done, or have seen it in plain sight, and yet still believe in that bullshit.
“I don’t get it, this guy has seen you pull, have an awesome social circle of women, and dominate venues, and he still chooses to walk around doing day game for 10 hours??? No wonder he’s still a virgin at 40!” - Troy talking to one of his crews about one of the biggest morons in existence.
Muffins - Guys who are a bit effeminate, usually makes friends with women easily, does the “hug thing” on a whole lot with them (and thinking of it as kino), and is generally a likeable (but not a fuckable) guy. Muffins can be associates but that’s about it.
Mutual Activity Date
Mutual Agreement (Also known as the “Yes Effect”) - One of the conversational tools of TDD to get to the person’s core identity much quicker without using any tactics. Can be attained by stating the obvious, or stating a stripped down core belief that she can easily agree to. Should be done ASAP in conversations.
Natural Barrier - What happens when you disconnect with your current interaction and build tension by creating a physical or non-physical barrier between you two.
Needy Motherfucker (or NMF) - Coined by Hide during a teleseminar. Basically means really needy guys. Also applies to the other terms like idiots, morons, muffins, and nice guys.
Nice Guy Syndrome - Discussed on the Featured Articles Portion on the forums as well as on the podcasts. Generally this is a problem for most guys where they talk about what they think other people want them to hear, have tons of moral high horse problems and prejudgments that it clouds their awareness and they come off as fake, which is why they aren’t fuckable. Nice guys also try to beat around the bush and their idea of successfully attracting women is highly ambiguous and relies on meeting them up for dates a whole lot of times.
Nonverbals - As reviewed in the Mastermind E-Group Newsletter, this term means Nonverbal Communication - using one’s own body: facial expressions, posture, eye contact, smiling, pace of walking, etc. as a tool of attraction.
Open Environments - Literally means an environment which is outdoors. Open environments are generally easy (and boring to some) because the mere approach in these environments generate the attraction needed.
Papa Placebo (as in, character)
Paparazzi Analogy - “It’s different seeing things from the other side (meaning coming from abundance), you learn things that you haven’t seen before just when you thought you had what you wanted…it’s like being famous…you work so hard for it, then you realize now you can’t go to a supermarket without being hunted down by the Paparazzi” — Troy mentions this to guys who finally achieve results then realize there’s much more than bagging a hot girlfriend.
Phemi - An analogy to a male acquaintance that wants the short cut to being best friends, not taking the value of time and growth in the relationship. Furthermore a “Phemi” does it in a creepy manner. Popularized by MTV’s reality show “Bromance” and the real-life cast member Phemi who tattooed Brody’s name on his body.
“Dude! That guy bought plane tickets to your graduation and he wasn’t even invited??? That’s a Phemi right there!!” - Stone
Pipeline/Pipelining - Having an insane number of women at your beck and call. Not to be confused with mere gathering of contact info, pipeline women for the most are “good to go…” meaning there has been solid sexual attraction and the only thing barring this from happening is logistics. (like say, a 45-minute train ride, or you have a meeting to go to, or her dog died, etc.)
“This was Troy’s first time in Germany, and this guy had a pipeline?!?? WTF!!” - Europe TDD Alumnus
Placebo Bootcamp (also known as a Ch****** a**** bootcamp)
Planting Seeds - Literally setting the room up for a Domino effect, by meeting and gaining allies, planting sexual seeds to target women, foreshadowing an after party, and so on. Best done in the beginning of the night.
Pre-partying
Presence - Having a gigantic vibe (Walk like Jupiter, not Mercury - Troy’s old analogy), swagger walk, good posture, chin up, beaming smile, and wanting to be in Line of Sight.
Private Instruction - The most prominent thing Troy Dizon is remembered for in the industry. Troy used to do an unheard of volume of 8-10 Private Instruction camps a month due to the intense demand for one on one instruction with him. Most of his previous reviews are all PI camps and most, if not all his top tier guys are all alumni of Private Instruction with him, in addition to other TDD programs. Troy is also known for refusing willing PI candidates if he senses that they don’t have the desire to succeed, and they are told to maybe try out other programs first before coming to him. Currently, his Private Instruction price has increased and PI’s are also offered now by the entire TDD Global Team if a client can relate to them more and prefers them to coach one-on-one.
Pure Night - Troy’s high-octane, one day/one night camp in Las Vegas that deals with sexual escalation, leading, sharp awareness in huge clubs, one night stands, and dance game. The camp is held 4 times a year and has produced very sharp alumni afterwards due to the one night only nature and relentless pace. Troy usually gets a huge Rialto view suite at the Venetian for that night, and like a closed doors camp, teaches for 6-8 hours straight before heading out.
Redirection, the art of
Reel Back - is a nonverbal, body shifting move where you back up a bit to make a woman chase you. Used both on conversations (especially day game), and on dance game, a more prominent version is used. As seen on the dance game video on TDDTV with Capo, Troy, and the TDD Girls.
“The Hotter the girl is, the more you reel back” - Troy
Retard - Someone with absolutely ZERO Awareness. That is what qualifies as a retard.
Reverse Line of Sight (RLOS) - Is when you’re in plain view of all the women and due to certain circumstances you end up looking bad.
“I was dancing with this chick, sexualized it…strong eye contact…and then OUT OF NOWHERE this big drunk tattooed guy dry humps my leg! WTF!!?? Reverse Line of Sight!” - Monster
Rolling Bar - A concept created by Troy and Tim when they were teaching a boot camp in Mexico 2008 during the “pull” year. Involves bringing cold booze behind the trunk like it was in the 70’s. This can be successful in holding the after party at the woman’s place instead and adds to the spontaneity of the situation. The name “rolling bar” was a term later adapted to alcohol brought pre-boot camp to clients’ hotel rooms for the after party or pull.
Rule of Cool - The Belief that anything you believe is cool, IS COOL.
Run and Gun - A term for post 2 am pick up that was widely taught and used during the “pull” year of 2008. It predicates around the concept that if women are still there and haven’t left the vicinity of the front of the club, then they want to get laid and are waiting for takers.” The name was coined from a guy Troy met and winged with in Austin during 2003 who literally did ONLY this style of pick up. He was named “run and gun” by Troy and he only showed up during 2 am, smelling good and his shirt cleanly pressed. After doing this for a few months, the guy dropped off the radar and made a cameo appearance on one of Troy’s later Austin boot camps, saying jokingly, “don’t listen to this guy!” in which he later revealed he ended up marrying a millionaire.
Running Jackal, the - One of the few TDD dance moves that is set up by directly walking up to a chick (as opposed to setting it up via the yin yang), baiting her in and doing a reel back. This move was named by Troy but was performed way more by Timmy D on a slow mo version that is still taught in the Pure Night boot camps in Vegas. Rarely used by students but Aztlan used it and got a same night lay that night from a really hot Indian chick.
“I pucker my lips and hit her with the Jackal, reach my hand out and before we know it we’re already dancing in circles around everybody!” - Aztlan, Pure Night and Champions of Choice Alumni talking about his same night lay.
Sexualizing the Interaction - TDD Method of spinning of an otherwise mundane conversation into something sexually progressive. Includes knowledge of explicit and implicit means of doing so, sexual foreshadowing, innuendo, etc.
(Advanced) Shadow Talking - The indirect and subtle way of talking to someone by being in another conversation and using a combination of talking loud and switching eye contact.
Singapore Plow, the - Powerful spin move coined by Troy in 2008 while watching a Singaporean drama show. Involved powerful spins, 3 tension building kisses, and a finale make out. Still being used by Timmy today.
Skype Program - TDD’s Foundational Distance Program.
Sharp-shooting - What happens when you have no option to leave and in every high point you must “lead” to the close. A term used for one night stands.
Stare down (also known as “The Robbie Williams”) - Eye Contact technique used heavily by TDD Alumni. Called the Robbie Williams because of his insane eye contact stare downs.
Stone, the
Swagger - An Air or Aura of Coolness. Projected by Attitude, Vibe, Archetype, and Non-Verbals.
Swagger Walk - As demonstrated on TDDTV, the TDD walk that reeks Swagger. Definitely a “High Impact” Move when walking into any environment where people notice you. Was a recreation from the infamous “Conquistador Walk” that was created 2008
Talk in the Mundane - A Non-Needy, Non-Linear way of talking to women wherein you just talk about mundane things. Not to be confused with fluff talk though because as you’re doing so, you are starting to embed TDD conversational techniques such as MA (Mutual Agreement), Foreshadowing, and Double-Relates. Its also a good way to test your self-esteem, because when you get into the habit of doing so, you will notice women respond to you positively without “extra effort”, therefore killing any more need to impress them, overdo things, over compensate, etc. This, coupled with conveyance, makes things an awesome surprise when you bring a girl to a credibility date or spot because you humbly kept things together until that time.
Taunt (also known as Tractor beam)
(Advanced) Team Game
Tension-Building - One of the main things that creates sexual attraction from a woman. Comprised of non verbals, sexual foreshadowing, natural barriers, and sexual barriers.
Three hit Combo (also known as the three spin combo) - A 98-99% successful three hit dance move taken from Salsa that is taught on all live boot camps. The move is set up once you reach out your hand and pull a “rubber band,” thus creating potential energy to do the three spins. Partially seen on the live infield dance video on TDDTV.COM.
Time Calibration - Taught extensively during the night sessions of live camps like Comprehensive Camps and Private Instruction Camps. Troy teaches that the beginning of the night is the easiest time to gain allies and plant seeds. Later on in the night, since the music is louder and its pretty difficult to gain new allies, “like a farmer” he says, its time to collect or water the seeds by returning to those allies or seeds and building the interaction further. At the end of the night, when the music almost ends and everyone winds down, things go back to how they were in the beginning of the night and conversations can actually work - or you can collect the planted seeds and take the girl home (or do Run and Gun). Calibrating through the times of the night is part of what Troy calls, “smart game.”
Tourist, the (as in archetype) - This archetype revolves around a character that is genuinely curious and excited about everything especially the person or people he is talking to. He asks authentic, genuine questions and is interested without any desire for linear advancement, and his vibe on its own will reel the girl in. The tourist has excellent energy and voice inflection and uses appreciation as his weapon of choice. Julian, the German Falcon uses this archetype a whole lot, even in his hometown.
(Advanced) Unexpected Gentleman, The
Verbal Beatdown - Very popular term used by TDD Alumni where Troy just dishes out an inferno of reality call outs that can totally sting and crush egos. Hurts to listen to, but surprisingly though students after that get extremely good and demand more of it.
“Can I get a Verbal Beatdown from Troy in Surround Sound?” - From the Alumni Forums
Verbals - Generally means verbal communication/conversation
Vibe - **Very Important** it is a distinctive emotional aura experienced instinctively, meaning you can switch vibes up into distinct ones (the 4 vibes) and they are experienced instinctively by the person meaning an instant “feeling” of connecting to that vibe. This is the main reason why TDD-ers don’t need to rely on conversational content.
Watchdog Mentality - Introduced during Champions of Choice 3 as an aid to online game, but it is a perfect analogy to Line of Sight. Troy defines this mentality in his saying: “If you KNOW and ASSUME people are watching you then do what you’re gonna do anyways!”
Wide Angle Vision - Taught by Aaron Dan when he teaches room awareness. This is a concept he learned during kayaking and outdoor backpacking which improves one’s peripheral vision dramatically.
Yin Yang - The semi-circled “mini-dance floor” pattern used for TDD dance game, with most moves pulled off using the Yin Yang as a set up.
X-Spin
X = X - Strong foundational belief system of TDD that means you attract what you project, in terms of vibe, personality, character, demographic, etc. This also means that it all starts with you (X), and instead of worrying about the girl just keep improving the aforementioned characteristics (vibe, personality, character, demographic) and you’ll reel in by default the same types of girls.
Zen Like Patience - Not depending on IOI’s, but knowing and skillfully mastering high points, foreshadows, and leaving to create tension such as natural barriers on a second nature level gives a TDD-er patience when interacting with women. Also an excellent way to kill neediness through competence. Goes with Troy’s “Shark Versus Piranha” analogy, where the Shark patiently circles its bait, studies its weak points, and eats everything in one shot, versus Piranha’s who keep plowing through by taking little bites or nibbles but rarely finish the job (an analogy to most pick up styles).
